HAPPY VALENTINES TO YOU ALL

I would like to share with my friends the seasons of LOVE, i wish you all the happiness and more love in you hearts.

Sharing with you friends this very nice poem.

To some people February 14th is just another day. For me this is a day to take time and say... I love you. Stop, and think what we've been through and how much are love as grew. Yes, we fight, And I've lied, But never forget for you I would die. Everyday I see your beautiful, smiling face, And there are moments that I stare and you take my breath away, and leave me with nothing to say, On this special day, I ask myself how it is possible to love a person so much. My heart has been permanently touched. All the tears and pain seem to go away. The pieces of my heart that were chiseled away, you make them ok. Once there was a deep dark hole nobody could touch, Until you came and filled it with all your love. On this special day I want you to know, I love you, More than I could write down, tell, explain or even try to show, In this life or the next. I've done things I regret, And they hurt you inside and made you cry, But let those things die, Not you and I. I want to be with you the rest of my life, Until the day I say good-bye.So on this Valentines Day I want to say, I love you and will always be with you.

Sad and Happy

Today......
I went to the school of my third son, to get his report card, i am happy his grades are very satisfactory. Hope he can maintain this until classes ends on March. Yehey! two months free from school obligations. Next school year you will be a second year high school, aim higher so you can fulfill your dreams, i am just here,i love you Tj!

Sad......
This morning i have visited my sister in-law Rowena, she's been sick since last week, her situation is a bit complicated. It has something to do with her abnormal bleeding, the doctor can not do much at this point in time, because she has to undergo several laboratory tests to determine what really causes this bleeding. Menopause has ruled out by the doctor since she has an active goiter disease and heart problem as well. Symptoms on her goiter may or may not be the caused of it said by the doctor. Yesterday, she went again to the hospital and had a minor procedure for her only to temporarily stop the bleeding while waiting for the biopsy, and a 2D Echo. Anyway just rest and relax, pray and stop worrying.
Don't worry, we will pray for your fast recovery, and we all love you!

Few minutes to thank HIM

I am thinking of what i am going to post today, until something came across my mind, and this one is more appropriate today. I am always neglecting HIM, because i am so busy thinking on how to go about my daily undertakings. I am sorry.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR LOVING ME!

DEAR GOD:
I want to thank You for what you have already done.

I am not going to wait until I see results or receive rewards; I am thanking you right now.

I am not going to wait until I feel better or things look better; I am thanking you right now.

I am not going to wait until people say they are sorry or until they stop talking about me; I am thanking you right now.

I am not going to wait until the pain in my body disappears; I am thanking you right now.

I am not going to wait until my financial situation improves; I am going to thank you right now.

I am not going to wait until the children are asleep and the house is quiet; I am going to thank you right now.
I am not going to wait until I get promoted at work or until I get the job; I am going to thank you right now.
I am not going to wait until I understand every experience in my life that has caused me pain or grief; I am thanking you right now.

I am not going to wait until the journey gets easier or the challenges are removed; I am thanking you right now.

I am thanking you because I am alive. I am thanking you because I made it through the day's difficulties. I am thanking you because I have walked around the obstacles.

I am thanking you because I have the ability and the opportunity to do more and do
better..

I'm thanking You because FATHER,
YOU haven't given up on me.

Beyond what men know....

I would like to share this with all the women out there.
I was digging to my old books and i found this nice poem, you can share this to others too. I am giving you the right to do so.

Women are often neglected on their rights, most of the time they are abused, physically, emotionally and verbally. Maybe they thought, it is okay for us, because we don't fight back or prefer to keep mum, only not to go further. Ahh, how sad, i hope, i wish, they will change this kind of attitude, before it is too late.

A Good Woman

©Carol Naumann

One you should treasure, but not as a possession,
Who needs to be loved, not treated with aggression.
Her value is more than all the world's treasures,
Not just the sum of scale's unit measures.
She should always be built up, not torn down,
By all the words you speak, when she is around.
She needs to be hugged and not pushed away,
Especially when you both having a really bad day.
Words spoken to her in haste and anger,
Can place her fragile heart in danger.
She should be admired for her boundless love,
And looked upon as a true gift from Above.
Not used as a target for all your frustration,
But held close and kissed with loving admiration.
You should always appreciate her commitment to you,
And not take for granted what she's given up for you!
Kiss her and love her all that you possibly can,
And don't be embarrassed to be seen holding her hand.
Treasure each day as if it were the last,
And at the end of your life you won't be regretting your past.

Greatest gift!

I always knew I'd be a mom
since I was just a girl.
And when God blessed me with you four
you each became my world.
He said now take these precious gifts
and show them greatest love.
Because he gave them here to me
from Heaven up above.
He said to teach them what is right
by what you do and say.
And please remember as a mom
to teach them how to pray.
The years go by so fast you know
no matter what we do.
And wherever that your paths may lead
my heart will go with you.
I only hope I served you well
and showed you greatest love.
I hope I taught you how to pray
and thank your God above.
Always remember,
to be your mom
is a blessing everyday.
For to me God sent a precious gift....

You maybe hardheaded sometimes but it's ok
it is still a part of growing up.
I am here always.

Rafael,John Kenneth, Tj and Augustine Kevin
Mama will always love you!

Relief Operations 2

typhoon's work
the group
me and my group
people waiting for their turn....
me and Princess, daughter of our secretary......
me, Princess and Randell..bro and sis tandem....good job kids!

We just had our relief operation last saturday, the one that i have mentioned last time.We went to Ternate and Bacoor, Cavite. It was successful although i felt a bit depressed for what we have seen. Heart wrenching, as i have told to my friend, because she was about to cry, , just be strong and don't mixed emotions here. If not, we can not do our job. Much as we want to give more, but our resources were limited. It was sad to see these people and their plight.
First stop,we went to the families that were affected by the cyclone. Their houses were totally damaged. It was good though because no casualties. Second to the families that were affected by the fire, houses were totally burnt. The people are slowly getting back to their feet. Thank be to GOD!
Lastly, to the community who were affected by the typhoons, we were there till sunset.

I would like to thank this person who is always beside me even during my most darkest moment, only that i need to keep his identity for he is a very private person. So i am trying to keep my promise,Mr. D, thank you so much, for being so understanding and patient, never i realized how much you really care for me, even at times i am so mean to you.
You always understand my feelings towards all these events that is happening to my life. Words are not enough to express how much i am grateful in knowing a person like you.
Thank you so much!

A poem for you. But i guess more appropriate for me.

So this is for both of us.

It takes a knock to open a door.
A "knock" to open your eyes:
It takes a "knock" to open the way,
That we may realize our goal,
That the dream is won because we try,
though a "knock" may spur on us,
Life is made up of joys and "knocks"
And each day begins with the dawn.

Had this poem ring a bell?

Project was successful

Hello to all my friends here at bloglandia, sorry for not being with you these past few days. Been awhile since i last posted.
Reporting for what we had done during the relief operation. It was done successfully although i was not able to be with the team for a reason that i need to attend to a very important matter, i missed this event. The team pursued as scheduled.
you will see from these pictures how the people and their places had been totally devastated.
Coming November, we will be having our second part of the relief operation, many people are still giving support for PINOY FORUMERS SOCIETY FOUNDATION,INC., so we decided to have a second round. Thank you to all those who are supporting our projects.

Will there be a morning?

It is depressing to know the effect of the calamity, done with one and still trying to recover from the devastation, here came another one.....strong typhoon again. When can we get this over with?
Feeling so tired of all these......added by the inadequacy and political will of our leaders. I am mad right now!
Sorry friends, just pouring out my sentiments over all these events that had been experiencing by our people. I still want to feel that there is hope over all these. Our people are suffering so much right now. Will there be still future for us?
Right now we are very busy preparing the things we need to give to our citizens, on saturday we will be heading towards one of the many places that had been severely affected by the calamity.

I would like to be optimistic(?).

A song..........

Will there really be a morning
When the night is gone
Will there be a dawn
To greet me urge me to go on
Is there no home for me
To even love again

Will there really be a morning
Or is this the end
Will there really be a sunrise when
The darkness dies
Will the strength to last'll be there
To fight the fears inside
The nights are so endless
Endless as it seems

Will there really be a morning or
Is this a dream
Days have come and days have passed
I wish the morning stayed
I pray that they would last
For in those mornings I
Could see what it meant to be free
Will there really be light again
When this tunnel fades
Will I reach out and touch it
Ir will I be afraid
I just hoped that
I'll still be there just that
I may see
Will there really be a morning to
Come for me
For in those mornings
I could see what it meant
To be free

Will there really be a morning to
Come for me?

.............bear with me friends.

Wrath of 'Ondoy'

Ondoy was a typhoon that raked almost all the houses, properties and lives of many residents in the affected places. Some of these parts are in Manila and its neighboring cities and provinces
It was a non-stop and so heavy downpour of rains last Saturday.
The sky was so dark and winds blowing stronger each minutes, my children were so afraid.
My youngest Kevin were crying while saying a prayer because, he was so touched by what he was seeing on television. We were monitoring it.
More gruesome the day after, when we see the effect of the typhoon. Feelings were undescribable.

To all my blogger family, i am appealing to you to please pray for our country and our citizens.
Wish that we can get through it soon.
But whoever wishes to donate, we gladly appreciate it http://www.redcross.org.ph/Site/PNRC/wtd.aspx thank you so much!

My angel

For us Catholics, we are now celebrating the feast day of our Archangels St. Rafael, St. Michael and St. Gabriel. In connection with this we are holding daily novena prayers and masses.

We are always reminded that we have our own angels that keep protecting us from harm and temptations. Since childhood we were told that we should ask their help whenever we need them and they will respond. I believed that they are our intercessors to the Lord.

In honor with them, i would like to share this poem.

My angel
by: Thomas G. Huckaby Jr.

From the moment I came into this world, and opened my big brown eyes. I knew that I was looking at an Angel, because the heart it never lies.

Through all of life's hard struggles, this Angel has always been there. Always hanging on when the ride got rough, always showing how much she cares.

For life is a constant struggle, more now than ever before. Much too hard for an Angel, oh how I wish I could give her more.

The days they pass so quickly. Each one faster than the last. But we know that we must go forward, and not dwell on mistakes of the past.

And so we venture on through this hateful world, though my Angel she is always calm. So I'll follow on always together with this Angel that I call mom.

The Taxi

I arrived at the address where someone had requested a taxi. I honked but no one came
out. I honked again, nothing. So I walked to the door and knocked. 'Just a
minute', answered a frail, elderly voice. I could hear something being
dragged across the floor.

After a long pause, the door opened. A small woman in her
90's stood before me. She was wearing a print dress and a pillbox hat with
a veil pinned on it,like somebody out of a 1940s movie.

By her side was a small nylon suitcase. The apartment
looked as if no one had
lived in it for years. All the furniture was covered with
sheets..
There were no clocks on the walls, no knickknacks or
utensils on the counters. In the corner was a cardboard box filled with
photos and glassware. 'Would you carry my bag out to the car?' she
said. I took the suitcase to the cab, and then returned to assist the woman.
She took my arm and we walked slowly toward the curb.
She kept thanking me for my kindness. 'It's nothing', I told her. 'I just try
to treat my passengers the way I would want my mother treated'..

'Oh, you're such a good boy', she said. When we got in the cab, she gave me
an address, and then asked, 'Could you drive through downtown?'
'It's not the shortest way,' I answered quickly.

'Oh, I don't mind,' she said. 'I'm in no hurry. I'm on my way to a hospice'.
I looked in the rear-view mirror. Her eyes were glistening. 'I don't have any
family left,' she continued. 'The doctor says I don't have very long.' I
quietly reached over and shut off the meter.
'What route would you like me to take?' I asked.
For the next two hours, we drove through the city. She showed me the building
where she had once worked as an elevator operator.

We drove through the neighborhood where she and her husband had lived when
they were newlyweds. She had me pull up in front of a furniture warehouse that had once been a ballroom where she had gone dancing as a girl. Sometimes she'd ask me to slow in front of a
particular building or corner and would sit staring into the darkness, saying nothing.
As the first hint of sun was creasing the horizon, she
suddenly said, 'I'm tired. Let's go now'

We drove in silence to the address she had given me. It was a low building,
like a small convalescent home, with a driveway that passed under a portico.
Two orderlies came out to the cab as soon as we pulled up. They were
solicitous and intent, watching her every move. They must have been expecting her.

I opened the trunk and took the small suitcase to the door. The woman was
already seated in a wheelchair. 'How much do I owe you?' she asked, reaching into
her purse.

'Nothing,' I said.
'You have to make a living,' she answered.
'There are other passengers,' I responded.
Almost without thinking, I bent and gave her a hug. She held onto me tightly.
'You gave an old woman a little moment of joy,'she said.
'Thank you.'
I squeezed her hand, and then walked into the dim morning
light. Behind me, a door shut. It was the sound of the closing of a life.
I didn't pick up any more passengers that shift. I drove aimlessly lost in
thought. For the rest of that day, I could hardly talk.
What if that woman had gotten an angry driver, or one who was impatient to
end his shift?

What if I had refused to take the run, or had honked
once, then driven away?

On a quick review, I don't think that I have done anything more important in
my life.
We're conditioned to think that our lives revolve around great moments.

But great moments often catch us unaware-beautifully
wrapped in what others may consider a small one.

PEOPLE MAY NOT REMEMBER
EXACTLY WHAT YOU
DID, OR WHAT YOU SAID, BUT THEY WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW
YOU MADE THEM FEEL.

THIS ONE WAS EMAILED TO ME BY A FRIEND AND MIGHT THOUGHT TO SHARE IT WITH YOU, HOPING TO DRAW ATTENTION AND GIVE A LITTLE MOMENT TO PONDER ON.

IT MOVED ME.......I REMEMBER MOM!

AND FEW YEARS FROM NOW.....ME!

This is a reflection for the busy people. WE should give time to praise and thank the LORD for whatever graces we received for the day no matter how small it is.

Dedicated to all of us:

A Psalm for busy People
The Lord is my Patience
I will not rush
He makes me stop and rest
for quite intervals
He provides me with
images and stillness
which restore my sincerity.

Paging Wives!

To make this fair to husbands, i'd rather share some tips too for wives out there.

Men love independent and confident women.
- Husbands want to see that their wives could work independently, not too much relying on them.

Men love to be with a happy companion and a woman who looks at things positively.
- Husband like to have a wife who always have a positive outlook in life, this outweighs the negative.

Men want great sex.
-It is not just by choice or what. Men by nature have higher libido than women, so they often want a partner in life that is compatible with them sexually. Men most often express love through sex that they tend to look for a woman who can also take care of their needs when it comes to that aspect. Women just have to realize that when it comes to physical intimacies, what men want in a wife is not just sex but great sex.

Men want to feel loved and cared for.
- We may tend to ignore our husband because we are too busy with taking care of our household chores and for the kids as well. Husband wants to feel they are around too. Oftentimes we think it is ok with them, but deep inside they are rebelling(sad).

Men want to be appreciated.
-If we women love to be appreciated, men do too. They want to be appreciated for what they have contributed in building a good family. Don't try to think on his negative sides that hinders you to become appreciative of him, instead look at the better side of him.

Men love a woman who knows how to listen and understand.
- Husband hates a nagging wife, they appreciate more a wife who knows how to listen and understanding as well.

Your turn gals.......work on it!
-

Paging Husbands!

I am curious how husbands react on this:

Five Golden Rules of the Doting Husbands

  • Get home by 8 p.m.

  • Eat dinner with your family.

  • Say thanks to your wife for all that she does.

  • Call your wife by name rather than saying "you" or grunting at her.

  • Look your wife in the eyes when talking to her.
Conclusions to all of these and to have a successful marriage. I believe...RESPECT,TRUST AND LOVE are the keys. Do you agree?

"end of the world"

Women in my age may start wondering how to overcome premenopausal syndrome. Is there really like premenopausal syndrome? You might be asking why i came to discuss this topic? Most women i think(and i agree) that we are afraid to face and come to terms with this topic, i don't know, but it is for me a sort of "end of the world" . For one, gone are the days the i could still do things like younger ones do. So physical activities are lessened, because i believe body strength is no longer the same. To understand about more of it http://www.al-hikmah.org/premenopausal-syndrome-whats-it-all-about.htm
I began to understand that slowly this matter as i believe i am already going through the sign and symptoms of it(sad). With no apparent reason, i feel depressed, sad, irritable and impatient to small things. In retrospect, i should be more aware of it now. So it is a fact that all women must understand and accept the reality that we all come and face the reality! ouch! Not yet!

so proud of you!

Just so happy and touched by my youngest Kevin did for me tonight. After my whole day of performing my duties as mom,i started feeling tired and i said my back is aching. What he did was,he got my pain reliever oil and started massaging my hand, then head and back. I felt so delighted and teary eyed. He is so sweet , caring and loving child. Stay sweet, bubly and thank you for making my day always happy and life more easier. I am so proud of you!
